We offer an exciting range of trips and events that support learning and provide challenges or new educational experiences.
There are day or evening visits to theatre and film venues, as well as leisure and recreation trips such as go-karting, ice and roller skating and ten-pin bowling.
We also support the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Over the past few years many students have gone from beginner to Gold award during their time at the College.
Overseas adventures in recent years have included expeditions and study visits to Spain, Greece, France, Germany, Turkey and Italy. More adventurous trips include the USA and Australia.
We also arrange many events for charity, including activities for Save the Children, raising money for a school in Africa, and international food evenings.
There are often opportunities for leadership training and the College has been successful each year in applying for student places at the Global Young Leaders’ Conference in New York and Washington (only 300 students are selected internationally), as well as Model United Nations events overseas.
Student exchange programmes include working with schools in Uganda.
