Ted Lean Prizes ceremony May 26, 2010

Students who have made the most academic improvement during this school year have been congratulated at The Ted Lean Prizes ceremony.

The prizes are the generous gift of Ted Lean, who was previously the Chair of Trustees of the College. The Heads of Department were asked to scrutinise the results of mock exams, assessments and public exams to nominate students who they felt had made the most progress in their studies.  These awards were not aimed at the straight ‘A grade’ students, but the students who had worked hard to improve their situation.

This year's winners were Anca Manole (one-year student), Madeleine Drew (GCSE student), Maria Fernanda Carreira Drummond (upper sixth student), Neha Jethwa (lower sixth student).
