Photography trip to Paris Feb. 7, 2010 - Feb. 12, 2010

The Photography trip to Paris was simply amazing!  The opportunity to develop our compositional, technical and creative skills with the camera in such a beautiful city was of enormous value and thoroughly enjoyed by all.  We visited some fantastic galleries during our time there, such as the Cartier Bresson Foundation which was exhibiting some of Robert Doisneau’s outstanding work.  Robert Doisneau was one of France's most popular and prolific reportage photographers and a personal favourite of mine also!  Other galleries we visited included le Centre National de la Photographie and Hotel de Ville both fascinating galleries displaying highly interesting and engaging photographs which enabled us to appreciate further the creative depth of this discipline.

Alongside visiting galleries, we also visited other well known places such as Montmartre, Notre Dame, Palace de Versailles and of course the Eiffel Tower!  All stunning architecture; great spots to photograph!  On the last night, we took a boat trip along the river Seine and had a three course meal!  This was a great opportunity to look back over an amazing week whilst relaxing and dining with friends as we passed many of the places we had visited that week.  I think the most enjoyable part of the experience was having constant opportunity to photograph all day every day, developing our skills day by day and keeping the passion of photography at the very core of our experience!
