Fashion Show June 9, 2009, 4:15 p.m. - June 9, 2009

The Fashion Show took place in the college’s dining hall which students turned into a catwalk.

Charlotte Denton-Cowell, Fashion and Textiles teacher who helped to organise the show, said: “The students have been great this year, full of enthusiasm and creativity. I am always surprised at the standards of work produced.

“A range of textiles techniques were used in the construction of these garments some included, knitting by hand and machine, embroidery, print, dye and weave.

“The second year A-level students are going on to continue their studies at St. Martins, London College of Fashion, Birmingham and Plymouth.”
