Meet the Staff

Our staff are our most important resource. It is their skills, personalities and commitment which make CCSS a special place.

All our teachers are highly qualified specialists in their subjects and believe in active, student-centred teaching. They are able to make their subjects interesting and to communicate their enthusiasm. They are also thorough and very aware of the best way to get you examination-ready. On average, they each have over 15 years of familiarity with A-level teaching and many have experience as examiners, so know just what is required.

The tutors who oversee each student's progress, and the House Managers who run the College Boarding Houses, are chosen for their pragmatic and sympathetic approach.

The vast majority of our staff are full time, as we believe that this is the best way to ensure that they are always here for you. In addition to their subject expertise, all are appointed as they share our values and place students at the heart of everything they do.
