Boarding at CCSS

Our boarding houses are close to our teaching buildings, in the heart of the city, a short walk or cycle ride from each other.

CCSS offers an excellent choice of high quality, supported boarding options, each with an individual style and atmosphere. All student rooms are very well appointed, almost all ensuite, with superfast fibre broadband – some of the best boarding of any school in England.

Our boarding houses are staffed 24/7 by well-trained professionals whom students know well, and whose first priority is the care and welfare of our boarding students.

Our St Barnabas residence for students aged 14 -17 is a Victorian Villa and its associated Stables; Scholars House, across the road, is a more collegiate environment, for students age 16+. Hope House, by the University Botanic Garden, is for boys aged 15+.
