Boarding at CCSS for Day Students
Occasional boarding can be a significant help to those day students who live further away or who want to take advantage of evening opportunities in the college, the city, and the university.
It also gives parents an opportunity to be away from home during term, confident that their children will be supported personally and academically while they are away.
Day students who are resident overnight follow the normal boarding routines during their stay. They are provided with bed, breakfast and evening meal, supervised evening study in house, and the support of boarding staff throughout their stay.
The college offers this occasional boarding facility at a discount from the rate for full-time boarding and for the current academic year is priced at £70 per night (Scholars House and St Barnabas Stables section) or £90 per night (Hope House and St Barnabas Old Rectory section).
To enable a fair distribution of this opportunity, our guideline is that day students may request up to two nights in any week, and up to fourteen consecutive nights for a longer stay once per school year. It is dependent on availability, which can change from week to week, and so cannot be fully guaranteed.
Please email the Admissions Team [email protected] to enquire about availability.
