Cambridge University Engineering laboratories
Two CCSS students who are applying to university next year to read engineering got a bespoke tour of the Cambridge University Engineering laboratories from two of the university’s ground-breaking researchers. Demetrios Lefas and Masha Folk (researchers in fluid mechanics at Cambridge University) showed Liz Jeong and Cristian Drapni a range of undergraduate experiments and projects, from bridge-building to computer modelling to laminar flow. It was an inspirational visit and has further fuelled the enthusiasm they share.
